Two Buckets, Gas and Water.

How you use them will have different outcomes.

Greetings!  I was listening to an audio today in my car and the speaker brought up a great subject.  He discussed the idea of everyone carrying around two buckets; one filled with water and one filled with gas.  He was saying that we all carry around both of these imaginary buckets.  During the course of your daily conversations you are either throwing water or gas on the situations you encounter.  Water and gas each have the time and place.  They can be used for good or bad, depending on the situation/conversation.

What to say when you talk to yourself

self-talkI am currently reading the book, ‘What to say when you talk to yourself’ by Shad Helmstetter.  This book has revealed a lot of negative self talk that I have told myself over the years.   Looking back, I have even found some things I have accidentally heard other say about me and those words have become my own self talk.  With over 30 years of negative self talk it is no wonder I am where I am in life.  I love my life, but I know I could be much further along with more positive self talk and this book can get me there!

If you find yourself saying negative things to yourself, I would highly recommend this book.  It will help you discover all the negative talk you think and tell yourself.  Then it will go on to show you how to get rid of that  talk, and how to replace it with positive thinking.

When you are ready to change your thinking, this is the book for you!

The 40/40/40 rule of life

Greetings!  Today I would like to talk about the 40/40/40 rule of life.  I’m sure you have heard of it, but you might not know it by this name.  The 40/40/40 rule of life is what most Americans live by.  They work 40 hours a week, working for 40 years of their life, and then retire on 40% of what they previously made.

Most of us have been taught the same things.  Go to school, get good grades so you can get a good college education, and then hope to make good money.  If you have read the ‘Rich Dad, Poor Dad’ books, then you will know that this philosophy is what Robert Kiosaki’s poor dad taught him, which is exactly what most of us were taught.  There is a much better way!  A way in which we don’t have to live by the 40/40/40 rule.

Fast Start Training – Score in 24

Want to build your teams faster? Follow this system to help each new enrollment score in 24.

Now that you have enrolled someone into your business, the first thing you need to do is walk them through a fast start training.  This means you will take about 10 minutes and walk them through the top few things to help them get their business off the ground.  You have taken your time to invite, present, and enroll, but you are not finished yet.  We have a saying in our company and that is Score in 24.  That means you need to help them enroll one new person within 24 hours of them enrolling.  We live by the philosophy that if you only enroll one, then you really haven’t enrolled anyone.  Once you help that person enroll one person, that is when you have really enrolled one person.  The saying is, “One is none, two is one!”  Going through this fast start training is what is going to help your new prospect to Score in 24!

Decide, and Burn your Boat

A true decision to do something, means cutting off all other choices.

 Burn Your Boat

Greetings!  Today I would like to talk about making a decision to do your business.  Before we get into that let’s first look at the word ‘decide.’  The root word ‘cide’ means to Kill Off.  Words like Pesticide, means to kill pests, Genocide means to kill off a generation, homicide is the killing of a person.  When we look at the word ‘decide’ that means we have several choices and we have to decide what to do.  Once we decide what option we want to go with, we have to KILL OFF all other choices.  Remember ‘cide’ means to kill off, so if we decide, then we kill off all other choices.

Presenting your network marketing business

The key to presenting is using third party tools or third party expert.

Greetings!  Today I would like to talk about presenting your network marketing business.  This should be the easiest part of the entire process.  I say this because you should never present your product or business without some sort of third party tool, which I will explain in a minute.  Your other option is to have a third party expert with you at the meeting and let them present the information.  The third party expert could be your sponsor or another person from your company.  This kind of presentation is called a 2 on 1.  If you can’t find anyone to go with you to the meeting, than make sure you use a third party tool do the presentation. You should follow this system to make sure everything you do with your prospects can be duplicated.  Duplication means they can repeat everything you did, from the invite to the closing, without having to know every detail about the product or business.

What is the catch to Network Marketing?

There is a catch to everything in life, including network marketing

Greetings!  Today I would like to talk about “The Catch” to network marketing.  I was listening to the audio book called ‘Go Pro’.  In the first few chapters, the author describes the five categories in which we fit into when it comes to making money.   They are the blue collar, white collar, sales, traditional business owner, and investor.  He then goes on to talk about a new way called network marketing.  They all have a catch, even this one.

Dream Circle

Do you have a dream circle? Is your dream circle shrinking or expanding?

Greetings!  Today I would like to talk about the Dream Circle.  Growing up I had a poster hanging on my wall of a Porsche 959.  Since I was a kid, my dream has been to own one of these cars.  I would lay in bed day dreaming about driving it around with my dog in the front seat.  I told everyone that one day, when I got that Porsche, everyone would know that I had finally made it.  I was a success!
