I am currently reading the book, ‘What to say when you talk to yourself’ by Shad Helmstetter. This book has revealed a lot of negative self talk that I have told myself over the years. Looking back, I have even found some things I have accidentally heard other say about me and those words have become my own self talk. With over 30 years of negative self talk it is no wonder I am where I am in life. I love my life, but I know I could be much further along with more positive self talk and this book can get me there!
If you find yourself saying negative things to yourself, I would highly recommend this book. It will help you discover all the negative talk you think and tell yourself. Then it will go on to show you how to get rid of that talk, and how to replace it with positive thinking.
